Mission Statement
The mission of the Texas Association of County Auditors is to support the membership by providing education and resources to assist in the performance of their official duties in an independent, professional, and innovative manner; therefore, enhancing efficient and effective County government.

Promote public awareness of the County Auditor
Memberships:
Membership in the Texas Association of County Auditors is based on four levels:
- Regular Membership – limited to duly appointed county auditors and assistants who have paid their annual dues.
- Lifetime Membership – may be granted by membership vote to a county auditor. No dues assessed.
- Honorary Membership – may be granted by membership vote to any person whose work or accomplishments are particularly beneficial to the profession of county auditing. No dues assessed.
- Special Membership – granted to any applicant desiring to attend TACA meetings and who have paid their annual dues.
